SPECIAL LIMITED TIME NEW MEMBERS DEAL.
Master Eugene Refino is a 5th Degree Black Belt and the 2010 USA Taekwondo National Champion. He holds the Level 1 Coaching Certification through USA Taekwondo and is educated and certified to coach at any tournament held within the United States. He was a former D1 Referee for USA Taekwondo, which gave him experience in safety protocols and precautions as well as an in depth look into the rules that govern the sport.
Master Refino believes that one of the greatest aspect of Taekwondo is that there are constant role models in your life; meaning that the instructor or coach that you start with, typically stay until you leave the sport and maybe even after. Master Refino's family has a strong background in child care, beginning with his mother; who spent countless years nurturing and helping little ones grow into responsible individuals. This has impacted Master Refino to be passionate about helping others grow. Through Amway’s Leadership Team Development, he learned the value of giving back, communication, team work, and being a leader. He loves to challenge others through a tough work out, and to accomplish goals that others have said is impossible. From coaching and competing in state, regional, and national tournaments to leading day to day classes; he is present, engaged and motivated. After over 10 years as Program Director, he is ready to share his love of Taekwondo, with you and your family at Risen Taekwondo.
